In 1975, responding to the growing demand for high-quality dry sake, the brewery launched the brand "Kokushi Muso." The name originates from Records of the Grand Historian (Shiji), describing the legendary general Han Xin as an unparalleled figure. Inspired by this vision, the fourth-generation president, Toru Kobiyama, aimed to create a sake that is unique, bold, and enduring. Many of its products use Hokkaido-grown rice, showcasing pure regional character and earning a place as the brewery's core brand, beloved by sake enthusiasts.
