"Minami no Takarabako Kagoshima SHOCHU STREET IN TAIPEI" concluded successfully on August 23. Over the two-day event, visitors participated in tastings, cocktail experiences, and exchanges with distillery representatives, discovering the diverse appeal of Kagoshima shochu.

Organized by the Kagoshima Prefectural Government of Japan, the annual flagship event "Minami no Takarabako Kagoshima SHOCHU STREET IN TAIPEI" will be held overseas for the first time this year. The event will take place on August 22 and 23, 2026, at the Taipei Expo Park - Yuanshan Area - Circular Square.

The Taipei International Wine & Spirits Festival – Pure Wine Show will grandly open on April 17 at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center. Visitors can explore a curated selection of popular Japanese beverages, including fruit liqueurs, umeshu (plum wine), sake, and shochu. Exclusive on-site promotions will also be available, and guests who meet the spending threshold can join a capsule toy (gachapon) activity for a chance to take home a limited-edition LED lightbox.

The highly anticipated "Sake Union" will return to Taipei's Xinyi District from March 27 to 29, bringing together renowned Japanese breweries and specialty food vendors for a vibrant outdoor celebration of sake culture. USE Electronics Co., Ltd. will showcase select labels from Yaoshin Shuzo, Iinuma Honke, and Tonoikeshuzouten, inviting visitors to explore the diverse expressions of Japanese sake.
