The 10th USE Cup Judan Tournament Quarterfinals Kick Off with Exciting Matches
The quarterfinals of the 10th USE Cup Judan Tournament commenced on April 9, 2020, with the top 16 players gathering for what promises to be a series of exciting matches.
Since 2011, USE Electronics Co., Ltd. has been the title sponsor of the USE Cup Judan Tournament, marking its 10th anniversary this year. The scale of the tournament has continued to grow, and it is now the fourth largest professional Go tournament in Taiwan, following the "Mingren Championship," "The Taiwan Weiqi Ace Tournament," and "Taiwan Tianyuan Tournament."
In 2017, USE founder Mr. Junichi Kato passed away, and the current Chairperson, Ms. Junko Kato, succeeded him, carrying on his vision by continuing to support Go tournaments. By bringing together corporate strength and Go enthusiasts, USE Electronics contributes to the development of the professional Go environment in Taiwan—providing players with ample opportunities for competition, helping them accumulate match experience, and elevating Taiwanese players to an international level, with the goal of achieving outstanding results in global competitions in the future.
