Final of the 11th USE Cup Judan Tournament — Chairperson of USE Electronics Attends to Support Players

The final of the 11th USE Cup Judan Tournament took place on August 4, featuring a match between Lin Chun-Yen and Hsu Hao-Hong. In this high-level showdown between two top players, Hsu Hao-Hong set a new record by securing his fourth consecutive championship title.
The USE Cup Judan Tournament is title-sponsored by USE Electronics Co., Ltd. and organized by the Chinese Taipei Professional Go Association. Now in its 11th year, Chairperson Junko Kato of USE Electronics—who also serves as Chairperson of the association—attended the event to show her support and encourage the players, including those preparing for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
In an interview, Chairperson Junko Kato shared, "The USE Cup began because my father had a deep passion for Go. His teacher once told him that, at the time, there were not many companies in Taiwan supporting Go and professional players. My father hoped to encourage more business leaders to support Taiwanese Go players, which led to the establishment of the USE Cup."
She further added, "After coming to Taiwan, I hoped to carry on my father's vision by continuing to support Go. I am very pleased to see more and more business leaders joining in support. Looking ahead, as players prepare for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, I hope even more companies will take part in supporting the development of Go."
USE Electronics expresses its sincere appreciation to all players of the USE Cup Judan Tournament for their dedication and competitive spirit, and wishes them great success at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
