Building Bridges: Taiwan–Japan Interior Design Exchange Led by USE Electronics
To foster collaboration between Taiwan and Japan in architecture and interior design, USE Electronics Co., Ltd. helped organize a visit by the Taipei Association of Interior Designers (TAID) to the Osaka headquarters and showroom of Japan's renowned architectural hardware company, Union Co., Ltd., in May.
Union Co., Ltd. graciously invited the Japan Institute of Architects (JIA) Kinki Chapter to join the exchange session. Mr. Kazuo Matsuo, Chapter Chair and architect, personally attended and shared insights into the current state of architectural design practices in Japan. His presentation provided valuable references for Taiwanese interior designers, while the discussion fostered an in-depth exchange of perspectives and ideas on design between Taiwan and Japan, resulting in a truly rewarding experience.
In 2025, we ventured into new business areas by introducing a curated selection of leading Japanese brands in architectural hardware, interior materials, and furniture—such as UNION, SOGOKAGU, HIRATA TILE and T.balance. Our goal is to create safe, comfortable, and beautiful living spaces, delivering exceptional product experiences to consumers in Taiwan.
